Install it as an app
Apricot runs in a browser, but you can add it to your desktop or your phone's home screen and open it like any other app.
What you get
It opens in a window of its own, straight onto your lists, without the browser's tabs and address bar. You stay signed in exactly as you are in the browser.
There's a refresh button inside it, because there's no browser reload button to reach for - though it fetches the latest by itself whenever you come back to it.
On a computer
In Chrome or Edge, open Apricot and click the install icon at the right-hand end of the address bar, then click Install.
In Safari on a Mac, open Apricot and choose File, then Add to Dock.
On an iPhone or iPad
Open Apricot in Safari and follow these steps:
- 1
Tap the Share button - the square with an arrow coming out of it.
- 2
Scroll down the list and tap Add to Home Screen.
- 3
Tap Add. Apricot appears on your home screen with its own icon.
On Android
Open Apricot in Chrome and follow these steps:
- 1
Tap the three dots menu at the top right.
- 2
Tap Install app, or Add to Home screen if that's what yours says.
- 3
Confirm, and Apricot appears on your home screen.
If you can't find the option
Browser menus move around between versions. Look for anything that says Install or Add to Home screen, and make sure you're on Safari on an iPhone or iPad - other browsers there may not offer it.
Didn't find it? Email support@apricot.so and a person will write back.
